OMEGA '08 : The national level technical symposium of Hindustan College of Engineering organised by HEESA (Hindustan Electrical and Electronics Scholars Association) is back. This time the symposium is scheduled for MARCH 01, 2008.

For the ultimate experience of the latest in the EEE field and for having a day that is packed with 100% pure fun, you simply cannot afford to miss this event. Add to all this the joy of being grandly awarded for your skills. So be there and have the time of your life !

1. Paper Presentation:

Engineering is all about innovation. And its innovations in technology that keeps improving our lifestyle. So if u got some innovative and new idea, this is an event for you to showcase your brilliance.
Come forward and enlighten us with your ideas.

2. Project Presentation:


.... It might be a superb idea that you are having and may be it sounds great on paper but how will its performance be, when u implement it practically ??? You'll never know the answer to that until you actually do it practically. So this is the event for those go-getters who show us and satisfy us with their work. Because hey, people say seeing is believing !

Points to bear in mind :

• Maximum of 4 authors per project
• a hard copy and a soft copy of the abstract of the project and the components used to be sent to us on or before Feb 22, 2008(address details given at bottom of page)
• while sending soft copy: in the subject line,mention "PROJECT" and the groups name
• Selected projects will be intimated on or before Monday Feb 25,2008
• Selected participants should send confirmation mail on or before Tues Feb 26,2008
• In the confirmation mail participants must specify the components that they require from us (subject to availability)
• The participants must bring a complete project report on the day of the event.

3. Technical Crosswords:

Its the traditional crosswords, EEE style. Scratch your head to locate the word thats hiding in the corner of your brain and make sure that it fits in perfectly well with the other letters already available to you !!!!

4. Circuit Debugging:

Definition of an electrical circuit : a network that has a closed loop, providing a return path for the current. Doesn't that sound heavenly. But the problem is this isn't heaven, where all is perfect. Here, there is something always wrong with the circuit or theres some scope for improvement. Your job: to make it as heavenly as possible.
